Master Your Money This Year
We're opening enrollment for three practical courses starting this summer. Each one focuses on real-world budgeting skills you can use right away. Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your approach, these programs give you hands-on experience with the tools and strategies that actually work.
Classes run for six to eight weeks, with live sessions and plenty of chances to ask questions. You'll work through your own budget scenarios and get feedback from instructors who've been helping people manage finances for years.
Courses Opening in 2025
We've scheduled three programs for the second half of this year. Each one covers different aspects of personal finance, and you can join whichever fits your current needs. Registration opens two months before each start date.
Building Your First Budget
This course walks you through setting up a budget from scratch. You'll learn how to track expenses, categorize spending, and adjust when things don't go according to plan. We cover common pitfalls and how to stay consistent without feeling restricted. Perfect if you've never had a formal budget or if your previous attempts didn't stick.
Advanced Budget Monitoring
For those who already have a budget in place, this course focuses on monitoring and optimization. You'll learn techniques for analyzing spending patterns, identifying areas for improvement, and using tools to automate tracking. We also cover how to adjust your budget as your life changes—new job, moving, family additions.
Financial Planning for Families
Managing household finances gets more complex when you're coordinating with a partner or supporting kids. This course addresses budgeting for multiple people, discussing money openly, and planning for short and long-term family goals. We look at real scenarios—from managing irregular income to saving for education—and how to make decisions together.
Livia Dumitrescu
Livia spent twelve years working with families on financial planning before joining our team. She focuses on making budgeting approachable and teaches the first course in our series.
Raluca Popa
Raluca specializes in budget optimization and tracking systems. She leads our advanced course and helps students refine their existing financial practices with practical tools.
Learn From Experienced Practitioners
Our instructors have worked directly with hundreds of individuals and families on budget management. They understand the challenges that come up when you're trying to get control of your finances—and they know what strategies actually help.
During each course, you'll have regular access to your instructor through live sessions and discussion boards. They review your assignments and provide specific feedback based on your situation. This isn't generic advice—it's guidance that fits your actual circumstances.
Both Livia and Raluca are based in Baia Mare and bring perspectives shaped by working with Romanian families. They understand local financial realities and can help you navigate specific challenges you might face in this market.
What You'll Gain From These Courses
Each program is structured to give you practical skills you can apply immediately. We focus on techniques that work in real life, not theoretical concepts that sound good but don't hold up when your budget gets tested.
Hands-On Practice
Every session includes exercises using your own financial information. You'll work through real scenarios and get comfortable with the tools before you need to use them on your own.
Personalized Feedback
Instructors review your assignments and provide specific suggestions based on what you're trying to accomplish. This helps you avoid common mistakes and adjust your approach as needed.
Flexible Learning Format
All sessions are recorded, so you can review material or catch up if you miss a class. Discussion boards stay active throughout the course for questions and peer support.
Practical Tools and Templates
You'll get access to spreadsheets, tracking templates, and planning worksheets that you can customize for your situation. These are tools we've refined over years of working with clients.
Community Discussion
Learning with others who share similar financial goals helps you stay motivated. Group discussions often surface questions you hadn't thought to ask and solutions you can adapt.
Ongoing Resource Access
Course materials remain available for six months after completion, and you can join alumni sessions where we discuss new challenges and share updates on what's working.
